Snoopy Street Fair Update 1.23 is Live
The latest update for Snoopy's Street Fair features Snoopy's New Year Bonanza. The first thing you'll notice is the snow has been cleared out and the sun is once again shining in the neighborhood. New items include children with remote control items, Snoopy slapshot hockey and Sherlock Holmes style detective gear, a sandbox and more. Levels 77 and 78 have been added along with a hot chestnut stall and party bear with balloon respectively. There is also a balloon arch for 2 SDs. The party bear has been added to the gift list for friends' fairs.
A recent offer that I have really found useful is a booster for Snoopy's Cash Dash. The booster not only speeds up Snoopy, but also increases his capacity so he isn't stopping every few seconds. Sometimes he'll clear out the coins and stars for my entire fair in one round!

Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving 40th Anniversary
Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving special will celebrate 40 years when it airs Thursday night at 8:00pm Eastern on ABC Television! Get your toast and popcorn ready!
Per ABC: The ABC Television Network will kick off the holiday season with the classic half-hour animated PEANUTS special, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, THURSDAY NOVEMBER 28 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on ABC. This marks the 40th anniversary of the classic special, created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz. In the 1973 special, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, Charlie Brown wants to do something special for the gang. However, the dinner he arranges is a disaster when the caterers, Snoopy and Woodstock, prepare toast and popcorn as the main dish. Humiliated, it will take all of Marcie’s persuasive powers to salvage the holiday for Charlie Brown.
A special bonus cartoon from Charles M. Schulz, This Is America, Charlie Brown: The Mayflower Voyagers, will air with the PEANUTS classic, in which history comes to animated screen life in a captivating and informative program about the Mayflower voyagers. The special will air with Spanish audio via SAP. In This is America, Charlie Brown: The Mayflower Voyagers, the year is 1620. After 65 grueling, sea-tossed days, the Pilgrims are in view of America’s shores – and Charlie Brown and the Peanuts crew are with them as they experience firsthand the lifestyle of the early settlers and celebrate the first Thanksgiving.
The cast includes Todd Barbee as Charlie Brown, Robin Kohn as Lucy, Stephen Shea as Linus, Hilary Momberger as Sally, Kip DeFaria as Peppermint Patty, Jimmy Ahrens as Marcie and Robin Reed as Franklin.

There are also several new roaming characters and animals available for purchase. A few are decked out in lighted costumes, which may be a good addition for Halloween themes. An interesting item will be the ATM machine. The description mentions getting 10 Snoopy Dollars per day for 20 days, but I haven't found any info on what the real world dollar cost will be to purchase the ATM. Enjoy!

Snoopy's Street Fair Fourth of July Update
An exciting new update has been released for Snoopy's Street Fair! To celebrate the Fourth of July holiday, Beeline has introduced several new items. Snoopy as the a flag pole, Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell with Woodstock giving a speech and ringing, and two parades; Beagle Sam and Independence March. The Beagle Sam parade is a great addition to the fair. Tapping on the base launches a patriotic fireworks and music show while Snoopy and some of his little bird friends dress up in their finest and parade down the street. Unfortunately, Beeline has only offered the parades as a package with 125 Snoopy Dollars for $10. It was worth it to me for one parade, but sadly I won't purchase the second one unless they offer it individually. Below are some images of the Beagle Sam parade in my fair. The flag pole, Liberty Bell, and Statue of Liberty are in the background. Enjoy!

A Snoopy Flying Ace and Easter Beagle items are now available for 30 Snoopy bucks each. I'm waiting to see what the Flying Ace actually does; could be pretty cool if he flies around! Enjoy!

Valentine's Day Update Coming and Thanks for the Gifts
According to Beeline, there should be another Snoopy's Street Fair update before Valentine's Day. Hopefully with some interesting new items. I put my redecorating on hold when the snow arrived and I've been waiting for the next update before I start moving things around. I want to set up a huge flower and water garden in the bottom section.
On another note, I'd like to thank the many friends that have gifted my Street Fair! Unfortunately, you can only have 100 friends' fairs listed in your game and can't directly gift back. So, I'll say thanks here to everyone I can't return the favor too.

Snoopy's Street Fair Thanksgiving Update
There is a new Thanksgiving Update active for Snoopy's Street Fair! New features include a Thanksgiving dinner table new Woodstock friends in the garden, and two new levels. The only items for the neighborhood side appears to be two new stalls for levels 53-54; one being a firefly jar for illuminating your Fair! The Woodstock birds feature different costumes and will be offered in daily sales; as will a turkey. The Thanksgiving table, similar to the Rock Band stage, is available for coins but requires 10 Snoopy Dollars each to purchase Snoopy siblings to sit around the table. Sorry Beeline, you fell short of the mark on this strategy again.

Crazy Fast XP at Higher Levels in Snoopy's Street Fair
Lots of cash? No room? Need to generate a ton of XP to meet those skyrocketing level requirements? Buy lots of Jukeboxes and then sell them back right away. Yes, that's right. Sell them back at 10% of the price just for the XP.
I stumbled upon this crazy idea while I was converting over several of my stalls to jukeboxes to counter the effect of the drastically increased XP requirement per level in the higher 40s. I was quickly plowing through level 47 just from the XP amount awarded on the initial installation. Once thing that has been bothering me about the insane increase in the XP requirements is that I really would like to allocate most of my Street Fair real estate to decorating, not plunking down row after row of duplicate stalls/items just to keep up with XP demand. This led to looking at other ways of spending coins to gain XP points. Here is what I found:
The Gift Stand is the weakest generator of XP per coins compared despite specifically being there to generate XP. Around 11.6 coins/XP at level 30 and 7.2 coins/XP at level 48. The Flower Garden, while capable of generating a ton of cash, puts out the same amount of XP. Pancake stalls rate a bit better. And the entertainers for hire? Not economical at all: 18.5 coins/XP at level 30 and 11.5 coins/XP at level 48; plus they take a whole day to cycle.
I ended up back where I started; the Jukebox. At level 30 a jukebox purchase will award you with 58,000 XP. At level 48 the award is up to 290,000 XP. So, we're looking at only 5.8 coins/XP. Comparatively, it would take around 5 days of cycling through for a jukebox to generate that much XP, plus take up space. It seems crazy to buy and resell items just for the initial XP award, but it makes a bit of sense when you are trying to conserve space and don't want a lot of duplicate junk stacked row after row. This method can be put into place without taking up any space and give you a quick boost to level up.
Calculation:
Item price minus 10% to account for resale value / XP awarded at purchase.
Any suggestions or other methods you have discovered?
Enjoy!

Beeline has announced a Halloween garden decor contest. There's not a lot of time and some players haven't had a chance to buy many of the new items yet, so chances will be limited. there will be five winners for this contest with a prize of 1000SDs each!

Street Fair Halloween Update is Live
The Snoopy's Street Fair Halloween update is live! Lots of cool new items and decorations including a Trick or Treat stall, a day/night mode to finally use those street lights, and new garden items. The are also two new levels for a total of 52 and some new items to go along with them.
The garden includes a bonfire and witch's cauldron that look great at night. The street lights and garden lamps the street section now have coin and SD prices; need to figure that out. It looks like the majority of items will require catching them on the daily sales. I'm eager to test out the trick or treat stall and see how we'll it works with the kids trick or treating.
More details soon.

Snoopy's Street Fair Update 1.8 Released
A pleasant surprise this morning: Snoopy's Street Fair update 1.8 was released! There are several new items included in this update; especially in the Garden area. There are also two new levels so you can rank up to 48 now.
New additions for the garden include Woodstock as a farmer who tends to your crops (increase cycle speed and prevent spoilage), Sally having a picnic, and a little sailing ship for your river. The Fair area adds a plate spinner act, punching bag stall, and some little Woodstock birds playing catch. The Garden additions also list chickens, chipmunks, and a tent; but these are not appearing in the catalog so watch for those as daily specials. I mentioned adding farm animals in the Beeline forums a few weeks ago; maybe they're taking that suggestion to heart! :-)
Have fun with the new toys!

Snoopy's Cash Dash Tactics Part 2: XP Stream
In part 1 of this post I discussed my method for creating a money stream with Snoopy's Cash Dash. In this post I'll talk about the secondary, and more useful to some, benefit of this method: a super fast way to gain experience.
The setup is the same: 100 Soda Machines configured so Snoopy will take at least a minute to collect and thus stay out collecting continuously. The result of this was an average of 9,200 coins per minute in my tests. Initially I had developed this tactic with raking in cash in mind to save for future purchases. What I didn't expect was the amount of XP (experience points) that would also be collected. Soda Machines produce a mere 15 XP per minute; half the amount of coins generated. What I didn't factor in was how many Snoopy sets, such as Flying Ace and Scout Master, that would be collected!
In my five minute test runs the average was 3 sets collected. So, not including the 15XP from each soda machine it breaks down as follows:
My current project has been finding a cost effective method for producing both coins and XP to match the continually increasing needs with each level. Post coming soon! As always, thanks for stopping by. You casubscribe to this blog with the link at the top right corner to be notified of new posts.
