Beeline 12 Day Advent Calendar for Snoopy's Street Fair and others

Beeline has a 12 day Advent calendar on their Facebook page.  I believe yesterday was something for the Smurf Village and today was for Snoopy; free gold box! Looks like the item of the day will appear in your normal daily sale page.

Crazy Fast XP at Higher Levels in Snoopy's Street Fair

Lots of cash? No room? Need to generate a ton of XP to meet those skyrocketing level requirements? Buy lots of Jukeboxes and then sell them back right away.  Yes, that's right. Sell them back at 10% of the price just for the XP.

I stumbled upon this crazy idea while I was converting over several of my stalls to jukeboxes to counter the effect of the drastically increased XP requirement per level in the higher 40s. I was quickly plowing through level 47 just from the XP amount awarded on the initial installation. Once thing that has been bothering me about the insane increase in the XP requirements is that I really would like to allocate most of my Street Fair real estate to decorating, not plunking down row after row of duplicate stalls/items just to keep up with XP demand.  This led to looking at other ways of spending coins to gain XP points. Here is what I found:

The Gift Stand is the weakest generator of XP per coins compared despite specifically being there to generate XP. Around 11.6 coins/XP at level 30 and 7.2 coins/XP at level 48. The Flower Garden, while capable of generating a ton of cash, puts out the same amount of XP.  Pancake stalls rate a bit better. And the entertainers for hire? Not economical at all: 18.5 coins/XP at level 30 and 11.5 coins/XP at level 48; plus they take a whole day to cycle.

I ended up back where I started; the Jukebox. At level 30 a jukebox purchase will award you with 58,000 XP. At level 48 the award is up to 290,000 XP. So, we're looking at only 5.8 coins/XP. Comparatively, it would take around 5 days of cycling through for a jukebox to generate that much XP, plus take up space. It seems crazy to buy and resell items just for the initial XP award, but it makes a bit of sense when you are trying to conserve space and don't want a lot of duplicate junk stacked row after row. This method can be put into place without taking up any space and give you a quick boost to level up.

Calculation:
Item price minus 10% to account for resale value / XP awarded at purchase.

Any suggestions or other methods you have discovered?

Enjoy!

Snoopy's Cash Dash Tactics Part 2: XP Stream

In part 1 of this post I discussed my method for creating a money stream with Snoopy's Cash Dash. In this post I'll talk about the secondary, and more useful to some, benefit of this method: a super fast way to gain experience.

The setup is the same: 100 Soda Machines configured so Snoopy will take at least a minute to collect and thus stay out collecting continuously. The result of this was an average of 9,200 coins per minute in my tests. Initially I had developed this tactic with raking in cash in mind to save for future purchases. What I didn't expect was the amount of XP (experience points) that would also be collected.  Soda Machines produce a mere 15 XP per minute; half the amount of coins generated. What I didn't factor in was how many Snoopy sets, such as Flying Ace and Scout Master, that would be collected!

In my five minute test runs the average was 3 sets collected. So, not including the 15XP from each soda machine it breaks down as follows:

  • Level 18: 1600XP per minute
  • Level 27: 9000XP per minute
  • Level 33: 25600XP per minute
So, even as the monetary benefit begins to run out at higher levels this method still can be used to generate a large amount of XP if you are trying to level up quickly. You can also mix in Pinball Machines, which cycle every five minutes, to boost the number of coins collected during Cash Dash runs.

My current project has been finding a cost effective method for producing both coins and XP to match the continually increasing needs with each level. Post coming soon! As always, thanks for stopping by. You casubscribe to this blog with the link at the top right corner to be notified of new posts.

Snoopy's Rock Band

I was excited to see the Snoopy's Band available in the new 1.7 Street Fair update, but luckily I read up a bit before I made the 3 million coin purchase! As detailed on the My Street Fair website, when you purchase the Snoopy's "Band" you are actually only getting the stage. Each of Snoopy's five instrument playing siblings have to be purchased separately at 25 Snoopy Dollars apiece.  Despite not having enough Snoopy Dollars to allocate for the band right now, I will still buy the stage for two reasons:

  1. You do get a decent amount of coins and XP for just having the stage; at level 29 it's 24,150 coins and 14,400XP every four hours.
  2. This is one of the variable price items that will continue to go up in price as you level up. Just going from levels 28 to 29 today will cost me an extra 225,000 coins for the stage.

 Rock on!

Snoopy's Cash Dash

Snoopy's Cash Dash is a highly useful tool in your quest for coins and experience points in Snoopy's Street Fair.  Tap on this stall to alert Snoopy and he comes running. Once he's there, tap on the COLLECT icon at the top and watch him zoom off on his skateboard to sweep up all the waiting coins in your neighborhood. He will also pick up the XP and other items dropped by the stalls to complete sets for more experience points. Note, however, that if you have lots of stalls he will only collect from about 30-40 before you need to tap him to collect what he has so far and tap the COLLECT icon again to get him back to business. As a bonus, the stall will generate XP points every 24 hours.

When you have rows and rows of stalls, especially the those that regenerate quickly like Snack Carts, this method is much faster than tapping each of those coins yourself. In my opinion, the 25 SNOOPY DOLLARS this item costs is one of the more valuable purchases.

If you ever have any comments, questions, etc. please feel free to post below!  Thanks again for stopping by!

How to Unlock the Choconana Stall in Snoopy's Street Fair

Earlier I highly recommended the Choconana stall as a great money maker. You need to not only reach level 6, but also complete the 'Buy a Jukebox' task to unlock it for purchase. Maybe Beeline will add a note in a future update.

Enjoy!

How to get Free Snoopy Dollars in Snoopy's Street Fair

There are so many colorful and unique items to buy for your Street Fair that purchasing enough Snoopy Dollars would cost an arm and a leg in no time. There are ways, however, that Beeline has built into the game to give a few free Snoopy Dollars to help you along.

The quickest way early in the game to build up some free Snoopy Dollars is by leveling up. The first 10-15 levels can be gained quickly through use of some strategies I wrote about previously. Once you advance to the next level, Charlie Brown will do his little happy dance in front of the house and drop off two free SDs for you. If you hold on to those dollars, that's 20 SDs in 10 levels and you can buy something decent like a character stall or more advanced garden item.

The second easy way to get free Snoopy Dollars is by logging in to the game every day. Not only do you get a coin bonus every day (increases with level and consecutive days) but you also get 5 free SDs every fifth day!

In the beginning, when you're really eager to buy up everything, this may seem like a pittance towards your shopping list. But once you get going for a week or two you'll realize just how long it takes to level up as you advance and getting a few extra SDs every week will help. I'll be writing up an article on spending strategies soon. So please visit again!
