Snoopy's Street Fair Thanksgiving Update

There is a new Thanksgiving Update active for Snoopy's Street Fair! New features include a Thanksgiving dinner table new Woodstock friends in the garden, and two new levels. The only items for the neighborhood side appears to be two new stalls for levels 53-54; one being a firefly jar for illuminating your Fair! The Woodstock birds feature different costumes and will be offered in daily sales; as will a turkey. The Thanksgiving table, similar to the Rock Band stage, is available for coins but requires 10 Snoopy Dollars each to purchase Snoopy siblings to sit around the table.  Sorry Beeline, you fell short of the mark on this strategy again.

Enjoy!

Crazy Fast XP at Higher Levels in Snoopy's Street Fair

Lots of cash? No room? Need to generate a ton of XP to meet those skyrocketing level requirements? Buy lots of Jukeboxes and then sell them back right away.  Yes, that's right. Sell them back at 10% of the price just for the XP.

I stumbled upon this crazy idea while I was converting over several of my stalls to jukeboxes to counter the effect of the drastically increased XP requirement per level in the higher 40s. I was quickly plowing through level 47 just from the XP amount awarded on the initial installation. Once thing that has been bothering me about the insane increase in the XP requirements is that I really would like to allocate most of my Street Fair real estate to decorating, not plunking down row after row of duplicate stalls/items just to keep up with XP demand.  This led to looking at other ways of spending coins to gain XP points. Here is what I found:

The Gift Stand is the weakest generator of XP per coins compared despite specifically being there to generate XP. Around 11.6 coins/XP at level 30 and 7.2 coins/XP at level 48. The Flower Garden, while capable of generating a ton of cash, puts out the same amount of XP.  Pancake stalls rate a bit better. And the entertainers for hire? Not economical at all: 18.5 coins/XP at level 30 and 11.5 coins/XP at level 48; plus they take a whole day to cycle.

I ended up back where I started; the Jukebox. At level 30 a jukebox purchase will award you with 58,000 XP. At level 48 the award is up to 290,000 XP. So, we're looking at only 5.8 coins/XP. Comparatively, it would take around 5 days of cycling through for a jukebox to generate that much XP, plus take up space. It seems crazy to buy and resell items just for the initial XP award, but it makes a bit of sense when you are trying to conserve space and don't want a lot of duplicate junk stacked row after row. This method can be put into place without taking up any space and give you a quick boost to level up.

Calculation:
Item price minus 10% to account for resale value / XP awarded at purchase.

Any suggestions or other methods you have discovered?

Enjoy!

Snoopy Street Fair Halloween Contest

Beeline has announced a Halloween garden decor contest.  There's not a lot of time and some players haven't had a chance to buy many of the new items yet, so chances will be limited. there will be five winners for this contest with a prize of 1000SDs each!

"All you have to do is submit a photo of your Fair or Garden in night mode that you've decorated for Halloween. The creators of the top FIVE (5) Fairs or Gardens as decided by Beeline will each be rewarded with ONE THOUSAND (1000) free Snoopy Dollars for their Snoopy's Street Fair.

The contest starts now and ends October 31st. The winners will be announced and contacted shortly there after to provide their information to Beeline."

Street Fair Halloween Update is Live

The Snoopy's Street Fair Halloween update is live! Lots of cool new items and decorations including a Trick or Treat stall, a day/night mode to finally use those street lights, and new garden items. The are also two new levels for a total of 52 and some new items to go along with them.

The garden includes a bonfire and witch's cauldron that look great at night. The street lights and garden lamps the street section now have coin and SD prices; need to figure that out. It looks like the majority of items will require catching them on the daily sales. I'm eager to test out the trick or treat stall and see how we'll it works with the kids trick or treating.

More details soon.

Snoopy's Street Fair Update 1.8 Released

A pleasant surprise this morning: Snoopy's Street Fair update 1.8 was released!  There are several new items included in this update; especially in the Garden area. There are also two new levels so you can rank up to 48 now.

New additions for the garden include Woodstock as a farmer who tends to your crops (increase cycle speed and prevent spoilage), Sally having a picnic, and a little sailing ship for your river. The Fair area adds a plate spinner act, punching bag stall, and some little Woodstock birds playing catch.  The Garden additions also list chickens, chipmunks, and a tent; but these are not appearing in the catalog so watch for those as daily specials.  I mentioned adding farm animals in the Beeline forums a few weeks ago; maybe they're taking that suggestion to heart! :-)

Have fun with the new toys!

Snoopy's Cash Dash Tactics Part 2: XP Stream

In part 1 of this post I discussed my method for creating a money stream with Snoopy's Cash Dash. In this post I'll talk about the secondary, and more useful to some, benefit of this method: a super fast way to gain experience.

The setup is the same: 100 Soda Machines configured so Snoopy will take at least a minute to collect and thus stay out collecting continuously. The result of this was an average of 9,200 coins per minute in my tests. Initially I had developed this tactic with raking in cash in mind to save for future purchases. What I didn't expect was the amount of XP (experience points) that would also be collected.  Soda Machines produce a mere 15 XP per minute; half the amount of coins generated. What I didn't factor in was how many Snoopy sets, such as Flying Ace and Scout Master, that would be collected!

In my five minute test runs the average was 3 sets collected. So, not including the 15XP from each soda machine it breaks down as follows:

  • Level 18: 1600XP per minute
  • Level 27: 9000XP per minute
  • Level 33: 25600XP per minute
So, even as the monetary benefit begins to run out at higher levels this method still can be used to generate a large amount of XP if you are trying to level up quickly. You can also mix in Pinball Machines, which cycle every five minutes, to boost the number of coins collected during Cash Dash runs.

My current project has been finding a cost effective method for producing both coins and XP to match the continually increasing needs with each level. Post coming soon! As always, thanks for stopping by. You casubscribe to this blog with the link at the top right corner to be notified of new posts.

Snoopy's Cash Dash Tactics Part 1: Continuous Cash Flow

I've been experimenting with Snoopy's Cash Dash over the past two weeks and have developed a great method for effectively using this tool to greatly increase your progress in the Street Fair.  The benefits are twofold. The first, which I will discuss in this post, is creating a continuous cash flow. The second, which will be discussed in Part 2, is for rapidly gaining experience points to level up.

You want to buy all those shiny new stalls and garden items for your Fair, but inevitably you always seem to be low on cash.  I've learned to use Snoopy's Cash Dash almost like a cheat for creating a continuous flow of coins when needed. A word of warning: this will require some of your time and involvement, but that dedication will pay off in multiple ways. This method will work best once you have completed a few levels and are starting to expand your neighborhood and can be used as a large part of your income until you start approaching level 30. At that point you'll need to make some adjustments.

The first thing you'll need is at least one or two expansions. You're going to need a good deal of sidewalk real estate for this to start working. The second, of course, is the Cash Dash stall. The third piece is the Soda Machine; lots of them! The Soda Machine is by far the quickest and most cost effective money maker in the game. At only $300 per unit, it pays for itself in only 10 one minute cycles. Also, at 30 coins per minute (I'll refer to this as cpm) it is the best of the quick cycling stalls until you get to the much more expensive pinball machine. To develop a continuous coin flow from these ingredients follow these steps:
  1. Start installing Soda Machines up an down an open section of sidewalk. The goal here is to have as many as possible in your fair. I set up 100 units.
  2. Start Snoopy's Cash Dash and see how long it takes him to gather all the coins. The key is to have enough units so that Snoopy doesn't finish his route before the stalls begin their next cycle. This way he stays out and creates a continuous flow of coins into your bank!
  3. Adjust your setup if needed to make sure Snoopy is staying out. Add more Soda Machines or move them to separate locations to make him travel farther. Another quick tweak is to toss in some other quick cycling units, such as Snack Carts or Watermelon stalls, to mix things up a bit.
I ran several tests with a mix of around 90 Soda Machines and 10-15 various other quick cycling stalls. The results were even better than I expected! My five minute runs ranged from 35,000 to 60,000 coins collected, or an average of 9,200 coins per minute! In the lower to mid levels this is a huge improvement over the available stalls.

Like I mentioned before, this method will require some dedication, but you'll rack up coins quickly. Snoopy is going to need to be reset periodically since he can quickly get overloaded when taking in a lot of coins at once. You'll just needed to collect the coin from him and tap the COLLECT icon again to set him on his way. Since you obviously won't be doing this 24/7, you'll also want to place some higher earning long cycle stalls in your fair so there will be a decent amount waiting whenever you return to the game. Choconana stalls are good at lower levels, then upgrading to Roast Nut stands when you reach the appropriate levels. Character stalls are always a good option too.

In Part 2 of Snoopy's Cash Dash Tactics I'll discuss the second, and even more effective, benefit of this method: Collecting experience points! The money generated by this method may not be as beneficial as you level up, but gaining quick XP becomes even more important as you'll need 20-25% more XP with each level! Stay tuned!

Snoopy's Rock Band

I was excited to see the Snoopy's Band available in the new 1.7 Street Fair update, but luckily I read up a bit before I made the 3 million coin purchase! As detailed on the My Street Fair website, when you purchase the Snoopy's "Band" you are actually only getting the stage. Each of Snoopy's five instrument playing siblings have to be purchased separately at 25 Snoopy Dollars apiece.  Despite not having enough Snoopy Dollars to allocate for the band right now, I will still buy the stage for two reasons:

  1. You do get a decent amount of coins and XP for just having the stage; at level 29 it's 24,150 coins and 14,400XP every four hours.
  2. This is one of the variable price items that will continue to go up in price as you level up. Just going from levels 28 to 29 today will cost me an extra 225,000 coins for the stage.

 Rock on!

Snoopy's Cash Dash

Snoopy's Cash Dash is a highly useful tool in your quest for coins and experience points in Snoopy's Street Fair.  Tap on this stall to alert Snoopy and he comes running. Once he's there, tap on the COLLECT icon at the top and watch him zoom off on his skateboard to sweep up all the waiting coins in your neighborhood. He will also pick up the XP and other items dropped by the stalls to complete sets for more experience points. Note, however, that if you have lots of stalls he will only collect from about 30-40 before you need to tap him to collect what he has so far and tap the COLLECT icon again to get him back to business. As a bonus, the stall will generate XP points every 24 hours.

When you have rows and rows of stalls, especially the those that regenerate quickly like Snack Carts, this method is much faster than tapping each of those coins yourself. In my opinion, the 25 SNOOPY DOLLARS this item costs is one of the more valuable purchases.

If you ever have any comments, questions, etc. please feel free to post below!  Thanks again for stopping by!

Street Fair Update Coming

How to Unlock the Choconana Stall in Snoopy's Street Fair

Earlier I highly recommended the Choconana stall as a great money maker. You need to not only reach level 6, but also complete the 'Buy a Jukebox' task to unlock it for purchase. Maybe Beeline will add a note in a future update.

Enjoy!

How to get Free Snoopy Dollars in Snoopy's Street Fair

There are so many colorful and unique items to buy for your Street Fair that purchasing enough Snoopy Dollars would cost an arm and a leg in no time. There are ways, however, that Beeline has built into the game to give a few free Snoopy Dollars to help you along.

The quickest way early in the game to build up some free Snoopy Dollars is by leveling up. The first 10-15 levels can be gained quickly through use of some strategies I wrote about previously. Once you advance to the next level, Charlie Brown will do his little happy dance in front of the house and drop off two free SDs for you. If you hold on to those dollars, that's 20 SDs in 10 levels and you can buy something decent like a character stall or more advanced garden item.

The second easy way to get free Snoopy Dollars is by logging in to the game every day. Not only do you get a coin bonus every day (increases with level and consecutive days) but you also get 5 free SDs every fifth day!

In the beginning, when you're really eager to buy up everything, this may seem like a pittance towards your shopping list. But once you get going for a week or two you'll realize just how long it takes to level up as you advance and getting a few extra SDs every week will help. I'll be writing up an article on spending strategies soon. So please visit again!

How to Make Quick Cash in Snoopy's Street Fair

Snoopy's Street Fair is all about lining your streets with stalls and decorating the gardens, but to do this you need money. The real trick is to quickly start building your bank and increase your earnings as you level up. In this article I'll cover some key stalls needed to get you started in generating coins and where to move as you progress. I'll delve into Snoopy Dollars in another post.

At the beginning you have little cash on hand and need to be careful what you spend it on or things will go slowly. The quickest way to get coins rolling into your bank is to line the streets with stalls with a quick turnover. It will require some time at first, but you'll be rewarding later when items get more expensive and you already have a good amount of savings built up. Here's the way to do it.

Quick Coin Generation Strategy
The goal is to build up your coin savings as quickly as possible to make it easier to get the game rolling along. Since each stall, decoration, etc. generates X amount of coins in Y amount of time, I've crunched the numbers to find the best money makers. In addition to quickly generating coins, you also need some stalls which have a higher threshold for storing money while you're not playing; i.e. the total amount the item generates per time cycle.

Step 1: Buy several Snack Carts for your Street Fair. Snack Carts cycle through every 45 seconds (the quickest in the game) and generate 20 coins per cycle. A street lined with these will quickly start adding up if you put in a little active time. This translates to roughly 1600 coins and 400xp per hour.

Step 2: As you gain more money, start adding Soda Machines to your Street Fair. Currently, the soda machine is the best all around value in the game. Each one generates 30 coins and 15xp per 1 minute cycle, which translates to 1800 coins and 900xp per hour. If you need room, replace your snack carts with soda machines as needed.

Step 3: Add some stalls with a higher amount of coins per cycle to retain money during downtime. When returning to the game you'll have a nice stash of coins to collect. The Cotton Candy stall has the best mix for this strategy. Each one generates 660 coins and 540xp in six hours, yet costs only 1,800 coins so you recoup the investment quickly.

Step 4: Buy a Snoopy Cash Dash for 25 Snoopy Dollars once you have a large number of stalls. When you need him, Snoopy will hop on his skateboard and race around your Street Fair collecting coins from the stalls. This saves a lot of finger work and time, which is why this handy tool is worth the investment of SDs.  As a bonus, it also generates some experience points every 24 hours.

Step 5: As you build your coin collection, or get tired of sending Snoopy around (or tapping furiously) every minute, begin converting your Snack Cart and Soda Machine fleet into Watermelon and/or Choconana stalls. The watermelon stalls generate 70 coins per 4 minute cycle (1050/hour) and the Choconana stalls generate 150 coins every 10 minutes (900/hour).

Step 6: Once you have banked enough coins, and reached the require game level, begin converting all of your quick money making stalls into Roasted Nut Carts. Each cart will generate 1170 coins and 200xp per one hour cycle time. This frees up your time to focus on playing with your Street Fair instead of the tedious accounting aspects of the game.

Enjoy!

Getting Started with Snoopy's Street Fair

If you're a fan of Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the whole Peanuts gang you'll love Snoopy's Street Fair. This colorful app lets you design your own Peanuts neighborhood with vendor stalls, street performers, and a myriad of garden decorations. There is also a separate garden area, mini-games, and lots of character interactions to keep you smiling.  Getting started on your own Snoopy's Street Fair is easy, but knowing the little details and real costs will help in making the right choices to get your fair growing.  Here are a few tips and tricks to get you started:

  •  There are two currencies, coins and Snoopy Dollars, used to purchase in game items. It is important to note that, while the app is free, purchasing extra Snoopy Dollars costs REAL MONEY. Coins can be earned in a variety of ways in the game and there are ways to gain a few free SDs.
  • Moving through the levels is done by gaining experience points, which can be earned in several ways. Each level unlocks new vendor and character stalls and decorations.
  • You can add friends' Street Fairs to your list and visit their Fairs and give them gifts.
  • Each item, stall, decoration, etc. available in the Street Fair provides a certain amount of experience and coins. Some only give a one-time XP bonus when purchased and others regenerate during set time periods.
  • There are mini-games and other interactive items built into the app, such as roasting marshmallows or making lemonade with Woodstock, that will reward you with XP as well as just being fun.

In upcoming posts I will go into more detail on how to choose the best features and spend your money wisely to get your Street Fair off to a quick start, tips and tricks on how to manage the game, go into detail on specific in-game features, and bring you any news updates.  Thanks for stopping by!
